This book is about a girl named Dorthy.She gets blown away to the Land Of Oz.Soon she meets the tinman,Scarecrow,and the lion.Then they get to see the great Wizard of Oz.When they kill the Wicked Witch Of The West they get 1 wish each.So they followed the road to the witch.
When they get there the witch mand them her slaves.One day the witch saw her shoes and she knew that Dorthy did not know what magic was in them.But dorthy would not give her them.Then she killed her.She finally she got home and she never saw her friends again she missed them alot but she so happy to be home again.

I liked this book a lot. I liked it because there are funny, cool and out of this world kind of parts. The author is Roald Dahl. He is an exellent writer.
Matilda is a book about a girl named Matilda. At home she never got any attention. When she was very young she taught herself how to do so many things. At school she realizes she is a genius. Matilda also finds out she has telekanisis(to be able to move things with the mind.) Then she plans revenge on her evil parents and principal with her powers, Thus creating wacky adventure.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a great book. Charlie is a boy from a poor family. He loves chocolate, but he doesn't get to eat a lot of chocolate. There is a huge chocolate factory near his shabby house. The factory is owned by Mr. Willy Wonka. He closes the factory and tears his beard in two because his workers are jealous and start to steal his recipes. One day charlie's father brings home the newspaper and it says Mr. Wonda has sent out five golden tickets hidden inside five chocolate bars. Augustin, Veruce, Violet, Mike and Charlie are the five lucky finders of the golden tickets. They are allowed to go into Mr. Wonka's factory. Everybody turns different. Augustin goes up the pipe and turns fat to skinny. Veruce goes down a hole which leads to the dumps. Violet turns into a blueberry. Mike turns very, very small. And Charlie is the only child left. He is the winner. He gets to keep Mr. Wonka's factory and his family gets to live in Mr. Wonka's factory.

Calvin and Hobbes is a great series. If you don't know what it is, you've got to read them. They are HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! The author is Bill Watterson. It is about a boy that is 6. He uses his imagination with his best friend tiger to go on all sorts of wild adventures.

The book is really good. The author is Katheryn Lasky. It is about Soren, a Barn Owl. He is taken to an evil orphan acadamy. Once there, he meets Gylfie the Elf Owl. They make a plan to escape the hidious place. It has lots of exciting action when they are planning. One more thing, I WILL NOT tell you the rest!!!!!!! You must read to find out since she begins a plot for the second book.

The book Hoot written by Carl Hiaasen is a great book. I recommand this book for ages 8 and up. This book is wonderful for advanced readers. It has lots of action and it's very exciting. This book is about a kid named Roy Eberhardt who has just moved to Florida. While at Florida he has many adventures and discovers some strange mysteries. I hope you enjoy this book.

Eoin Colfer is the author of many books, the most famous probably being the Artemis Fowl series. This set of books currently has 5 novels published. The Lost Colony is the newest.

Artemis Fowl is a 13 year old boy. However, he is not ordinary. He is a genius, and has previously come up with different schemes involving him with a race of faeries that live underground. In this book, he has a calculation that involves him with a new race that is even less friendly than the faeires: goblins. These scaly creatures start appearing in certain places for no more than a few seconds. What is happening? Read the book to find out!

ALEX RIDER: STORMBREAKER

The Alex Rider series is written by a guy called Anthony Horowitz. Apparently he is a director and producer, along with being an author. Stormbreaker is one of his most famous books, mainly because it is first in the Alex Rider series and because it was just made into a movie.

Stormbreaker is a book about a teenage spy called Alex Rider. After his uncle dies mysteriously, he is recruited by MI6, the British spy agency. They want him to investigate Herod Sayle, a billionaire, and his new line of computers called the Stormbreaker. Read this book to find out what happens at Sayle's mansion.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes James Bond and all that stuff.

You should read the book the king in the window by Adam Gopnik. It is abouut a boy who becoms king of the window. He has to fight the Master of Mirrors to stop him from stealing everyones souls. He journeys into a reverse world, The Way, to fight the Master of Mirrors.

This book is my favorite of all times. I love J.K. Rowling! The book is about Harry Potter going back to school for his 4th year. Before he goes, he goes to the Quidditch Cup with his friends, Hermione, Ron and the Weasleys. He wants to find out about the misterious event that suppose to take place at Hogwarts this year. Other schools are coming for this event.

I recommend you should read this books if you haven't. I recommended for ages 8-14.

I read this book about 3 times, and it is also one of my favorite books. The witches is about a boy with his grandma going to a hotel. The boy discovers the Grand High Witch and her followers. The boy and a boy name Bruno get turn into mouses.

I also seen the movie,which I recommended for 9-13 years old because some parts of the movie are a little bit scary.

I recommend the book for 7-10 years old.

This fantasy story tells about a boy named David. When he moves in with Liz and her eleven years old daughter, Lucy. He discovers a collections of clay dragons that come to live. David's own special dragon inspired him to write a story which reveals the secrets behind a mistery. In order for him to solve the mystery and save his dragon, he must master the magic of the fire within not only with his hands but also with his heart.

This book just inspired me to write a book. Whoever likes squirrels and dragons would like the characters in this story. The Fire Within is one of my favorite books. I recommend it for ages 8-12, whoever likes magical stories.

With the Eragon movie coming out and all that jass, the Eragon book (with the cast of Eragon on the cover it)in my book order says that it has 768 pages with 8 color pages. (WOW I'm impressed) the normal looking book has 496 pages. Is anyone as confused as I am (whose name isn't matthew)? One more thing, how come the audio book on itunes cost more than 2 times the book costs? check for your self if you don't belive me.

Dragon Rider is a book about a dragon named Firedrake and a certain cat thing named Sorrel. They met a kid named Ben. Ben went with them and a little help from an unexpected manikin named Twigleg. Twigleg was supposed to be a spy for Nettlebrand but betrayed him. At the rim of heaven Firedrake and another dragon kill Nettlebrand. It was a great book and I highly reccomend it.

This book is about a girl who was born in the fiercest snow storm anyone in her village remembers. It is said that an Ice Dragon(Dragons that breath coldness)was seen on the day of her birth and every year after that. Her uncle is a Dragon Rider for the king of the land. There has been a great war raging in the kingdom since before she was born. She sort of makes friends with the Ice Dragon because she is slightly like an Ice Creature and she dosn't burn him with the warmth of her hands. You can read the book to find out what happens next.

The book Eragon is a great adventure story. It is about a boy named Eragon who becomes a dragon rider. He lives in a land called Alagaesia (al-uh-GAY-zee-uh). The king is an evil rider named Galbatorix. Eragon adventures with Brom ( a former dragon rider) to the Varden, the elves and dwarves, all who resist the king. Eragon has to battle Urgals, the man beasts, and save the elf princess Arya from the evil shade Durza.
